A very random selection of pictures from Spring Break 08. The city/boat related ones are from my favorite city, Ft Lauderdale, and the others are from Belize, Mexico, and the Florida Keys. In Lauderdale I took hundreds of pictures of the yachts in port including Paul Allen's 229 foot "Reverie," the 173 foot sailing yacht "Independence," and Lurssen's "Polar Star" and "Kismet" yachts. More to come in this album.

Rainy Lake, Ely, Grand Marais, up and down the North Shore, July 2008. While up there we had every kind of weather so the first day on Superior we had glassy flat water and then the wave action picked up for a few days and I was able to shoot all different kinds of weather on the lake, even my first attempt at shooting lightning which turned out pretty well for a first try.

I shot these at Nine Mile Creek in Bloomington one morning for an extra credit assignment in english class last fall. It was my first try at taking pictures of water with a slower shutter speed to get the motion in the water and after quite a few strange looking ones I managed to get a few I liked which are posted here.

An awesome Audi R8 showed up at the Glacier Lakes Quattro Club/MN Audi Hog Roast this past August. This was the first time that I had the chance to look at one close up with a camera other than at the Minneapolis Auto Show so here are a few pictures.

September's Cars & Coffee was held at Motorplex Minneapolis. 250+ cars, great weather, and some shots from atop a scissor lift (thanks to Bruno) to get an idea of how many cars really showed up. The next Cars & Coffee will be held on Saturday, October 4th at Motorplex again. I will not be attending due to the fact that I have to take my SATs that morning.
